The email button opens your own email application; nothing is sent until you send the message there.

Student records, FERPA, and HIPAA
FERPA generally applies to educational agencies and institutions receiving funds under U.S. Department of Education programs. A private educational services business is not automatically covered simply because it works with students. Work performed for a school may involve FERPA obligations, contractual safeguards, and limits on use and redisclosure of education records.
HIPAA applies to covered entities and business associates when its definitions are met. An educational evaluation or diagnosis alone does not establish HIPAA coverage. FERPA-covered education records are generally excluded from HIPAA’s definition of protected health information. This website is not represented as a FERPA- or HIPAA-compliant record collection system. Any future secure intake requires a separate assessment of the service, records, relationships, vendors, and required agreements.
